ClickRemix is a browser extension that lets you personalize any website using natural language prompts. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Information We Collect
Email Address (Optional)
If you sign up for beta access, we collect your email address. This is optional - you can use ClickRemix with 10 free credits without providing an email. Email collection is handled through Loops.so, our newsletter service provider.
User Prompts and Page Context
When you use ClickRemix to customize a website, we send your prompt (e.g., "give me dark mode") and basic page context to our AI service to generate the appropriate CSS/JavaScript modifications. This data is processed to provide the service and is not stored long-term.
Analytics Data
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how our website and extension are used. PostHog may collect information such as pages visited, browser type, and general usage patterns. Our PostHog instance is hosted in the EU region.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not track your browsing history
- We do not collect personal data beyond your email (if provided)
- Your saved styles are stored locally in your browser's Chrome sync storage, not on our servers
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- PostHog - Product analytics (EU-hosted)
- Loops.so - Email newsletter and beta signup management
- Mux - Video hosting for demo videos
- Google Fonts - Web fonts
- Cloudflare - Content delivery and hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Local Storage
Your customizations and saved styles are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's sync storage. This data syncs with your Chrome profile if you're signed in to Chrome, but it is not sent to or stored on ClickRemix servers.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies for analytics purposes through PostHog. These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Data Retention
We retain email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. You can unsubscribe at any time. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's standard retention policies.
