Clean X (Twitter) feed: fewer trends, calmer replies

Use ClickRemix to hide trends, reduce ads, and make replies readable on X without losing the essentials.

ClickRemix tips Dark mode

Why X feels overwhelming

Trends, who-to-follow modules, and boosted posts pull attention from the timeline. A calmer layout keeps the feed readable and replies easier to scan.

ClickRemix recipe for X

  1. Prompt: "Hide trends, 'Who to follow', and promoted posts; center the timeline at ~720px."
  2. Add: "Reduce padding between tweets; keep avatars and names aligned; dim quote-tweet borders."
  3. Ask: "Keep action buttons visible but subtle; keep verified badges legible without overpowering text."
  4. Save as "X Clean Feed" for daily scrolling.

Selectors to target

  • Hide [data-testid=\"trend\"], [data-testid=\"sidebarColumn\"] modules, and posts with aria-label*=\"Promoted\".
  • Constrain the main column by setting max width on [data-testid=\"primaryColumn\"] and centering it.
  • Reduce reply noise by dimming borders on [data-testid=\"reply\"] and tightening spacing.

If media previews dominate

Ask ClickRemix to shrink image and video previews to a fixed height with rounded corners, and to hide the "Connect" floating button so the feed stays distraction-free. Keep link cards but reduce their padding to match tweets.
